A 30 minute documentary that covers vividly, the stages through which young girls who attain teenage are ushered into womanhood. This ceremony is practiced in the Eastern part of Ghana, specifically the Ga-Damgbe communities namely, Ada, Krobo, Somanya and others. The Documentary highlights the motive for the ceremony and centres on particular families showing the preparations and costs involved. It covers the involvement of the entire community especially how they believe in their tradition and their way of life and shares the thoughts of some of the individuals involved in the ceremony.
